Sing Street - Chase the Dream and the Love

Sing Street is a musical and teen romance movie. That was released in the United States on April 15, 2016 and in Japan on July 9, 2016. This movie was written and directed by John Carney. He also directed works such as Once and Begin Again.

Sing Street stars Ferdia Walsh-Peelo as hero Conor, Lucy Boynton as heroine Raphina, Jack Raynor as Conor's brother Brendan, and others. Ferdia Walsh-Peelo is an Irish actor and singer and this movie is his debut movie. Lucy Boynton has appeared in works such as Bohemian Rhapsody and the TV drama Ballet Shoes. Also, Jack Raynor has appeared in works such as Midsommar and Transformers: Age of Extinction.

This movie depicts a boy called Conor falling in love with Raphina at first sight and changing his life by forming a band to get her attention. His life has many problems at school and at home. However, he grows up by falling in love with her and being obsessed with music. Conor's brother, Brendan, is an indispensable person of this story.

This movie is set in Dublin, Ireland in 1985. And it thoroughly reproduces the music, music videos, fashion and culture from that time, so I think it will be an opportunity for everyone to learn about the history of the 1980's. The director, Carney, and the production staff put a lot of effort into this part, so please watch it if you like.

He directed works such as The Guilty starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Training Day starring Denzel Washington. The Equalizer stars Denzel Washington as Robert McCall, Marton Csokas as Teddy Rensen, and others. Denzel Washington has appeared in works such as  Remember The Titans , Training Day , and My Bodyguard . Gifted was released in the United States on April 7, 2017 and in Japan on November 23, 2017. This movie was directed by Marc Webb and written by Tom Flynn. Marc Webb directed works such as The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield and (500) Days of Summer starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Gifted is a drama and comedy movie, and i t stars Chris Evans as Frank, Mckenna Grace as Mary Adler, and others. In the movie, Mary, a seven-year-old girl, lives a peaceful life with her single uncle Frank and a one-eyed cat. One day, however, she demonstrates her outstanding mathematical talent, which reveals that she is a genius called "Gifted."
